NEET MDS 2024 Counselling Dates: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on Thursday announced the dates for the NEET MDS 2024 counselling. Interested and eligible candidates can check the counselling schedule of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 at mcc.nic.in.

According to the schedule, the first round of NEET MDS counselling for 2024 is scheduled to start on July 1. The second round of counselling will commence on July 22. MCC will conduct three rounds of NEET MDS counselling along with one round of stray counselling. Classes are set to begin from August 1.

NEET MDS 2024 Counselling: Eligibility criteria

Candidates must have completed the BDS programme from a recognised Dental college, appeared and qualified for the NEET MDS 2024 exam, and completed their one-year compulsory internship by June 30, 2024, to be eligible.

NEET MDS, conducted by the NBE, is an entrance exam for admission to postgraduate dental courses in India. It serves as both an eligibility and ranking exam, held annually online. Scores are widely accepted by dental colleges nationwide. The exam offers a total of 6,501 Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats, including 50% under All India Quota (AIQ), 50% under state quota seats, and 100% in deemed/central universities and private colleges.
