NEET PG 2024 Exam: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) will hold the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) test tomorrow, August 11. The NEET PG exam for admission to MD, MS, and PG diploma programs will be administered in two shifts from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Applicants must bring the NEET PG admit card 2024 download from the official website of NAT at natboard.edu.in to the exam centre for verification.
The NEET PG exam date for 2024 has been postponed three times due to paper leak claims and other administrative reasons. On August 9, the Supreme Court heard a petition to postpone NEET PG due to the allotment of far-flung exam centres. It, however, declined to postpone the exam, claiming that the 2 lakh candidates would suffer.
NEET PG exam centres have also been lowered to 500, senior attorney Sanjay Hedge informed the Supreme Court yesterday. He also addressed the issues expressed by applicants concerning the normalisation procedure, as the exam will be conducted in two shifts this time.
In response, the NBEMS clarified today that the NEET PG 2024 results will be calculated utilizing the AIIMS normalisation approach for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET).
“NBEMS has adopted the process which is currently being used by AIIMS-New Delhi for its various examinations conducted in more than one shift including but not limited to INI-CET, in preparation of results for NEET-PG 2024,” the board said.
