NEET PG 2024 Revised Date: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is likely to announce the NEET PG 2024 new exam date today, July 2, 2024. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan recently announced that the NEET PG exam date will be announced on either Monday or Tuesday. Candidates will be able to check the exam date notification at natboard.edu.in.
Initially scheduled for June 23, NEET PG was postponed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) due to concerns over the integrity of competitive examinations in the country. The ministry stated that a review of the processes involved in conducting the NEET-PG entrance examination would be done to ensure their robustness.
The NBE is also expected to issue a new admit card. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official NAT website for the latest updates.
NEET PG is conducted for admission to various MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses, as mandated by the National Medical Commission Act, 2019. It is the only recognised entrance examination for MD, MS, and PG Diploma admissions across universities and institutions in India, including for foreign nationals seeking medical education opportunities in the country, according to the official information bulletin.
