NEET PG Date 2024: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is expected to release the NEET PG new exam date 2024 shortly. According to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the NEET PG new exam date is likely to be announced on Monday or Tuesday. Media reports suggest that the board will conduct the NEET PG 2024 exam in August. However, the exact date and time are yet to be announced by the officials.

The NEET PG exam, originally scheduled for June 23, was cancelled unexpectedly just 12 hours before the scheduled time, causing chaos among aspirants. Dr Abhijat Sheth, President of NBE, said that the exam was postponed because the Ministry of Education wanted to ensure it wasn't conducted under any vulnerable circumstances. Dr Sheth also clarified that there was no leakage of the NEET PG question paper.

The NBE will issue fresh NEET PG admit cards for candidates appearing for the exam. The NEET-related notices, admit card details, and other information will be available on the official website. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for the latest updates.

NEET PG 2024 Exam Pattern

NEET PG 2024 will be conducted online in a computer-based mode. Candidates will get 3 hours and 30 minutes to attempt the question paper. The exam will include 200 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections, each with sectional timing. Candidates will get 4 marks for every correct answer and will be deducted 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

The exam is being held for admission to 13,886 Master of Surgery (MS), 26,699 Doctor of Medicine (MD), and 922 PG Diploma seats.
