NEET PG Result Cancelled: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has cancelled the results of 22 NEET PG candidates for involvement in unfair practices during the examination. The list of the candidates whose results are canceled by the NBEMS has been published on the official website. The students are advised to check the official website to stay updated.

Why Were the Results Withheld?

As per the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences , NBEMS Examinations Ethics Committee, the candidature of 21 candidates has been revoked due to their involvement in the malpractices during the examination. One candidate's result from the 2025 session was withheld due to an ongoing case before the Karnataka High Court.

The NEET PG 2025 counselling is expected to commence by the Medical Counselling Committee in the third week of October 2025 on their official website. The candidature and results of 13 candidates remain cancelled. The other candidates mentioned in the official notification belong to previous years such as 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

NEET PG Result Cancelled: Exam Dates

The NEET-PG 2025 examination was conducted by the MCC, on August 3, 2025 in a single shift across 301 cities and 1,052 examination centres. According to the official data, over 2.42 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET PG 2025 Examination took place in computer-based mode. To ensure the exam was conducted smoothly and securely, NBEMS made elaborate arrangements and took strict measures against unfair practices.

The NEET PG result was declared on August 19, 2025 on the official website. The cut off for open category was released at 276, PwD was released at 255, SC/ST/OBC and PwD of SC/ST/OBC was released at 235. MCC has not yet released the counselling schedule for NEET PG. 

Steps to check NEET PG 2025 Counselling Schedule:

Step 1. Students must visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in to download the counselling schedule.

Step 2. Click on the link to check the NEET PG counselling schedule link available on the home page.

Step 3. A new window will open on the screen where the NEET PG 2025 Counselling schedule will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4. Download the counselling schedule and always keep a print out of the same for the future reference.
