The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is expected to declare the Group 4 recruitment examination result soon. Once released, candidates who appeared for the exam can check their qualifying status on the official website: tnpsc.gov.in.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts the Group 4 recruitment to select candidates for various entry-level posts in different departments of the Tamil Nadu government. The selection process for the TNPSC Group 4 exam in 2025 primarily involves two stages:

- Written Examination

- Document Verification and Counselling

TNPSC has officially revised the vacancies for the Group 4 Recruitment 2025. According to the latest update released on 27 September 2025, the total number of TNPSC Group 4 vacancies has now been increased to 4,662, marking a significant increase of 727 posts from the earlier announced 3935 vacancies.

TNPSC issued the provisional answer key against the question paper on July 21, 2025. Candidates were asked to review the tentative key and raise objections against it (if any) until July 28, 2025.

Post-examination of objections, the commission will soon release a revised/final answer key online. On the basis of the TNPSC Group IV final answer key 2025, the results will be announced soon.

When out, candidates who took the exam will be able to check and download their results on the official website at tnpsc.gov.in.

There were a total of 200 questions. Part A consisted of 100 questions from Tamil Eligibility cum scoring test, Part B included 75 questions from general Studies and Part C had 25 questions from Aptitude and mental Ability.

The cut-off marks for the TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2025 are expected to range between 230 to 240 out of 300 for General category candidates.

Note: The actual cut-off marks for various categories, including General, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Physically Handicapped, and others, will be released along with the results.

Candidates can check the TNPSC Group 4 result when released by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website at tnpsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the home page, go to exam dashboard, and then to Group IV services.

Step 3: On the next page, click on the link to check the Group IV services result.

Step 4: Enter your credentials to log in, and submit.

Step 5: Check your TNPSC Group 4 result displayed on the screen.

Step 6:  Download and keep a printout of the same for further use.
