NEET UG 2024 Counselling: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has withdrawn two seats from the special stray vacancy round of NEET UG 2024 counselling following court orders.
An MBBS seat from the open category has been removed from each of the following institutions: Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry, and Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Pondicherry. These seats were excluded from the seat matrix during the allotment process for the special stray vacancy round.
Meanwhile, the MCC has added multiple seats to the seat matrix for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs in the special stray vacancy round. Institutions where seats have been added include Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Pune; Government Medical College, Machilipatnam; Datta Meghe Medical College, Nagpur; and College of Nursing, BHU Varanasi. Eligible candidates can now fill in their preferences for the newly added seats during the counselling process.

It is important to note that candidates allotted seats in the MCC NEET UG special stray vacancy round will not be eligible to participate in the state-level UG counselling 2024 special stray vacancy round.
