NEET UG 2024 Re-Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NEET UG 2024 re-exam admit card soon. The NEET UG 2024 re-exam admit card will be released for 1,563 candidates. The re-test is scheduled to be held on June 23, 2024. Once released, candidates will be able to check and download the admit card at the NTA official website.
According to the official notice from the NTA, a High Powered Committee was formed to review the matter of granting compensatory/grace marks to 1563 candidates following grievances raised on this matter. After thorough consideration of all relevant factors, the Committee submitted its recommendations/report, which have been endorsed by NTA.
"As per the recommendations of the High Powered Committee, NTA decided to reconduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) [NEET (UG)] - 2024 on 23 June 2024 for 1563 candidates who had experienced time loss during the originally scheduled examination on 05 May 2024 and were awarded compensatory marks," read the official notification.

The scorecards of all 1,563 affected candidates released on June 4, 2024, will be invalidated and withdrawn. These candidates will receive their actual scores, without any compensatory marks, through their registered email IDs. A re-examination will be arranged for these 1,563 candidates.
Candidates who will not opt out of the re-examination will have their results based on the actual marks obtained in the May 5, 2024, examination, without any compensatory adjustments. For candidates opting to participate in the re-test, their new marks will be considered, and the scores from the May 5, 2024, examination will be disregarded.
The decision was made following the intervention of the Supreme Court. Therefore, the results of the 1,563 candidates have been nullified. This action was prompted by allegations of widespread irregularities and unfair marking in the national medical entrance exams.
The MBBS, BDS, and other courses counselling process for admissions will begin on July 6.
