NEET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important notification stating that NEET UG 2025 scores will serve as the basis for admissions to BDS (Dentistry), BVSc (Veterinary Sciences), and AH (Ayurveda and Homeopathy) courses.
“In continuation to the Public Notice dated 16 January 2025 on the mode of conduct of NEET (UG)-2025, it is clarified that in addition to the courses mentioned in the Public Notice dated 16 January 2025, NEET (UG)-2025 scores and merit list will also apply for admissions to BDS and BVSc & AH courses as followed in the past in accordance with the rules governed by respective regulatory bodies,” reads the notification.
The NTA previously announced that the NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode, scheduled for a single day and single shift.
Candidates are advised to link their phone numbers with Aadhaar for seamless OTP verification and ensure their Aadhaar credentials match the details on their Class 10 marksheet or passing certificate.

Moreover, the notification mentions that detailed information about NEET UG 2025 will be published on the official website (neet.nta.nic.in) once the application form is released.
NEET UG serves as the primary admission gateway for undergraduate seats in all medical institutions nationwide, including MBBS courses (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) at JIPMER, AIIMS New Delhi, and other government colleges.
