NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the final seat matrix for NEET UG counselling for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and other UG medical courses. The MCC has also released a list of 1,037 candidates who have been reclassified from Indian to NRI status following scrutiny of their documents. Candidates can check the NEET UG Counselling 2024 details at mcc.nic.in/ug-medical-counselling.

Candidates whose category has been changed from Indian to NRI must present the original documents at the time of reporting if they are allocated an NRI seat; otherwise, their admission may be canceled.

The Medical Counselling Committee initiated the MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 1 choice-filling process on August 16, 2024. Candidates can fill out and lock their preference forms on the MCC's official website, mcc.nic.in. The deadline to submit options is August 20, 2024, at 11:55 pm, with choice locking available from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on the same day. MCC will allocate seats based on the candidates' choices and merit. While candidates can select as many options as they wish, they must rank them in order of preference.

Seat allocation will occur from August 21 to 22, with results announced on August 23. Candidates must report and join their allocated institutions between August 24 and August 29, 2024. Institutions will verify the data of joined applicants from August 30 to August 31, 2024.

MCC NEET UG counseling for the 15 percent AIQ seats will be conducted in four stages this year: AIQ Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and an online stray vacancy round. Registration for the second round of NEET UG counseling will begin on September 5 and will close on September 10 at 12 pm.
