NEET UG Counselling 2026: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the revised provisional seat allotment result for NEET UG Round 1 counselling 2026. Due to an error that occurred while uploading a PwD certificate by the Primary Assessment Centre, the Committee uploaded the provisional seat allotment result again on its official portal. Candidates who have completed their choice-filling process can now download their provisional allotment letter from mcc.nic.in. As per the data, 29,945 seats have been provisionally allotted for the MBBS and BDS courses.
The earlier provisional seat allotment result was released on August 20, 2026. The final Round 1 seat allotment result 2026 is scheduled to be out today, August 22, 2026.
How To Check NEET Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026?
Here’s how you can check your allotment status from the official portal.
Step 1: Visit the official website at mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Select the UG Medical Counselling option.
Step 3: Click on the “Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026” link.
Step 4: The allotment PDF will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download it and check your allotted course and college.
Provisional Result Released After PwD Certificate Error
An error occurred while uploading a PwD certificate by the Primary Assessment Centre, leading to the release of the Round 1 revised provisional seat allotment result again. The counselling process 2026 covers MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing admissions under 15% All India Quota, AIIMS, JIPMER, Central and Deemed Universities. Those allotted seats have to report to the respective institute between August 22 and 31, along with their original documents.
NEET UG Round 1 Final Allotment Result To Be Out Today
MCC is scheduled to release the final seat allotment list today, August 22, 2026. The result will be prepared after reviewing the objections submitted during the grievance process. Once released, candidates will be able to download the result PDF from the official website mcc.nic.in. Seats will be allotted based on candidates' NEET UG ranks, seat availability, category, and choices submitted during the counselling. Those allotted seats must complete their admission formalities within the prescribed deadline.
