The NEET UG re-exam for 1,563 candidates is scheduled for today in six cities due to allegations of irregularities, including paper leaks. The re-tests will take place from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. Officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Union Education Ministry will be present at the examination centers. Here, candidates can check the Neet UG re-exam guidelines.

The medical entrance exam retest is being conducted after the agency retracted the grace marks that were awarded to students as compensation for the delayed start of the exam at six centers nationwide. Allegations of increased scores arose when six students achieved perfect scores of 720, alongside 61 others, sparking a political controversy.

The NEET UG re-test will last for 3 hours and 20 minutes and will be conducted in a pen-and-paper format. The test will consist of 200 questions. Candidates will get four marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be given for unanswered questions.
