- NTA official confirmed that NEET Re-Exam results 2026 will be declared by July 20.
- Candidates must keep their login details ready to download the scorecard from neet.nta.nic.in.
- Around 1000 objections have been submitted by aspirants during the objection window.
NEET UG Re-Exam 2026 Result: While NTA has not given any exact date for the Re-NEET results 2026, it is assured that the results will be released by July 20, 2026. A senior NTA official told ANI, “We would not like to give out any date as of now, but the result will be out by July 20. Normally, the results are announced within 45 days of the examination, but this time, as we have conducted the exam in 37 days, we will announce the results much earlier”.
Furthermore, the official has reiterated that the re-examination schedule will not affect the MBBS academic session. Over 20 lakh NEET aspirants took the re-test on June 20 after the May 3 exam was cancelled due to paper-leak allegations.
Steps To Download Re-NEET Result 2026
Once the results are declared, candidates can use the following steps to check results online.
Step 1: Open the NTA NEET official website at website neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the result link.
Step 3: Enter your registration number and password to log in.
Step 4: The results will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download it and save it for the counselling rounds.
Re-NEET Provisional Answer Key Released On June 25
Earlier, NTA published the provisional answer key for the NEET UG Re-Exam 2026 on June 25. Along with it, the agency also opened the objection portal until June 28. During this timeline, around 1000 challenges were submitted through the official portal. The authorities are diligently reviewing these objections and accordingly preparing the final answer key. The official added, "We need to scan all the challenges one by one, examine the supporting evidence, and respond to each one of them.”
NEET UG Counseling to Begin After Results
Post result declaration, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the counselling schedule. Candidates who qualify the NEET entrance exam will have to register online, upload mandatory documents, pay registration fees, and fill in their preferred colleges through the official portal. Seats will be allotted based on NEET rank, category, reservation rules, preferences, and seat availability.
