CAT 2026 Registration Window To Be Closed Today; Check Eligibility, Fees, Documents Required And Exam Date

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore will close the registration window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 today, September 15, at 5 PM. Candidates who have not yet completed their application must submit the CAT 2026 form via the official website before the deadline.

No new applications will be accepted after the registration window closes. Candidates who successfully register and pay the application fee before the deadline will be provided with a brief window to make corrections to their applications. During this period, eligible candidates will be able to modify details such as their photograph, signature, and test city preference.

CAT 2026: Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates belonging to the General, EWS and NC-OBC categories must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates from the SC, ST and PwBD categories need a minimum of 45% marks.

Final-year bachelor's degree students are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed their degree requirements but are awaiting their results can also register for CAT 2026, subject to the applicable conditions.

CAT 2026 Registration Fee:

The CAT 2026 application fee varies according to the candidate's category.

The application fee can be paid online through UPI, credit card, debit card or net banking. Candidates should note that the fee once paid will not be refunded.

CAT 2026: Documents Required

Candidates should keep the required documents and scanned files ready before completing the application form. These include:

-Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets

-Graduation marksheets/certificate

-Caste category certificate, if applicable

-PwD category certificate, if applicable

-Scribe certificate, if applicable

-Scanned passport-size photograph

-Scanned signature

Candidates should ensure that the information entered in the application form matches their official documents.

CAT 2026 Exam Date And Pattern

The CAT 2026 examination will be conducted on November 29, 2026, in three sessions across approximately 170 cities. The test will have a duration of 120 minutes and will consist of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).

Candidates who complete the registration process successfully will be able to download their CAT 2026 admit cards from November 4, 2026 onwards.

Candidates yet to apply should complete the registration and fee payment process before 5 PM today, September 15, to avoid missing the CAT 2026 application deadline.
