DU PhD Admission 2026: The University of Delhi has extended the registration deadline for the PhD admission 2026 till tomorrow, September 16, 2026. The extension dates were confirmed by the university through an official notice released on admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates who have completed the four-year UG course from the university under the National Education Policy (NEP) and Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) have until tomorrow to register for the university’s PhD courses through the official portal at admission.uod.ac.in. Previously, the registration deadline was September 14, 2026.

Following the below-mentioned steps, candidates can register online for the DU PhD. Admission 2026.

Step 1: Go to the official website at admission.uod.ac.in.

Step 2: Enter your enrollment number and date of birth.

Step 3: The application window will open. Enter mandatory details to create your account. 

Step 4: Complete the registration form with academic, educational, and communication details. 

Step 5: Upload mandatory documents and pay the application fee via online payment gateways.

Step 6: Submit the form after verifying the details thoroughly.

DU PhD Registration Fee 2026

Candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee while submitting the registration form. The fee varies as per categories. For UR, OBC-NCL and EWS categories, candidates must pay Rs 250 for each program they apply for. However, the application fee for candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwBD categories is Rs 100 per programme.
