FMGE October 2026 Registration:  The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the registration portal for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2026 on September 11, 2026. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for the third iteration of the FMGE 2026 exam via natboard.edu. The registration process will conclude on September 25, 2026. The exam will be held on October 31, 2026, in CBT mode across several exam centres. Qualified candidates will get a pass certificate and can apply for medical registration and compulsory internship in India.

How To Apply For FMGE October 2026?

Follow the given steps to register online before the deadline via the official portal.

Step 1: Visit the official portal at nbe.edu.in.

Step 2: Click on the registration link on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your basic details such as name, mobile number, and email address to register and create your login credentials.

Step 4: Using the above login details, complete your application form with mandatory fields. 

Step 5: Upload documents and pay the applicable fee via the online payment gateway.

Step 6: Submit the form after verifying the details.

FMGE October 2026 Registration Dates

The registration process will run from September 11 to 25, 2026. Once the window closes, NBEMS will not accept any applications. Candidates are therefore advised to complete their application process before the deadline. Check the following table for key dates regarding the FMGE October 2026 exam. 

FMGE October 2026 Exam: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for the FMGE October 2026 exam can be either an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) who has obtained their primary medical qualification from outside India. Applicants must read the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the NBEMS carefully before applying. 

The FMGE 2026 October exam fee is Rs 4,650, inclusive of GST. The fee must be paid during registration via the designated payment gateway.
