India's Only Railway University: Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), India's only railway university, is located in Vadodara, Gujarat, and comes under the Ministry of Railways as one of the central universities. Previously known as “National Rail and Transportation Institute” (NRTI), the central university got its status as Gati Shakti University in 2022 following a law passed in Parliament.

Course Fees At Gati Shakti University
Following the university's 2026-27 fee structure, the first-year fee for B.Tech non-hostellers (day scholars) is Rs 176,600.
