Candidates who qualified in the UPJEE Polytechnic examination can complete the online choice filling for Round 1 starting September 25, 2026, on the official portal jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The admissions process will be conducted across multiple main and special rounds for qualified candidates from Uttar Pradesh and other states.
Main Counselling Schedule (Rounds 1 to 3 - UP Candidates)
The initial phase is restricted to qualified candidates belonging to Uttar Pradesh:
Round 1: Choice filling runs from September 25 to September 27, with seat allotment declared on September 28. Freeze/Float submission and document verification at District Help Centers will occur from September 29 to October 1.
Round 2: Choice filling opens from October 3 to October 4, followed by seat allotment on October 5. Freeze/Float choices and document verification run from October 6 to October 8.
Round 3: Choice filling takes place from October 9 to October 11, with results published on October 12. All allotted seats auto-freeze without a float option, requiring mandatory document verification from October 13 to October 15.
Classes & Reporting: Participating Institute (PI) reporting is scheduled from September 29 to October 15, while classes officially begin on October 15, 2026.
Special Counselling Schedule (Rounds 4 & 5 - All Candidates):
The second phase is open to all non-admitted candidates appearing in UPJEE Polytechnic 2026 from both Uttar Pradesh and other states:
Round 4: Choice filling occurs between October 17 and October 20, with seat allotment results announced on October 21. Freeze/Float selection and document verification take place from October 22 to October 24.
Round 5: Choice filling is set for October 25 to October 26, followed by seat allotment on October 27. All seats automatically freeze, with fee deposition and document verification scheduled from October 28 to October 30.
Seat Withdrawal: Admitted candidates can process online seat withdrawal on October 30.
