Railway JE CBT 2 Result 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Computer-Based Test (CBT) 2 Result 2026 today, September 16, 2026. Candidates can download the zone-wise merit list PDFs and cutoff marks from regional RRB websites or rrbcdg.gov.in using their registration number and password. Based on the vacancies across zones, the cutoff marks vary.
The second phase of the Computer-based test was held on July 2, 2026, to fill approximately 2,585 Junior Engineer posts. Shortlisted candidates will now be invited for document verification, followed by the medical examination process.
How To Download Railway JE CBT 2 Scorecard 2026?
Using the following steps, candidates can download the scorecard via the official portal.
Step 1: Open the respective RRB websites or directly visit rrbcdg.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, select the latest announcement section.
Step 3: Click on the “CEN 05/2025 – Result / Shortlisting Notice for CBT 2 / Score Card Link”.
Step 4: Enter your registration number and date of birth/password to log in.
Step 5: Fill in the captcha code and submit the details.
Step 6: The scorecard will open on the screen.
Step 7: Download it and check your qualifying status.

RRB JE CBT 2 Zone-Wise Cutoff Marks 2026
Along with the merit list, each Railway Recruitment Board has also released the zone-wise cutoff marks separately on the official websites. The cutoff marks vary across zones and engineering posts and are prepared based on several factors, such as the number of candidates appearing, examination difficulty level, available posts, and normalisation method. Candidates can log in to the respective RRB websites and check the cutoff marks for each zone separately.
What After CBT 2 Result Declaration?
Candidates whose names are present on the RRB JE CBT 2 merit list become eligible for the Document Verification and Medical Examination process. For the DV, applicants have to bring their original educational certificates, diploma or degree documents, category certificates, age proofs, and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) if applicable. Self-attested photocopies as well as original certificates are mandatory.
Furthermore, the Medical Examination process requires candidates to s clear a fitness test administered by Railway Medical Authorities according to prescribed standards.
