NIRF ranking 2025 have been relaesed at the event conducted at the Bharat Mandapam Delhi. 

The rankings can now be checked on NIRF's official website, nirfindia.org.

 The Ministry of Education (MoE) has announced the 10th edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025.,

 The category wise lists for the institiutes will be announced by the Education Minister soon.

Institutes must not used these rankings for marketing, said Vineet Joshi, Secretary of the Department of Higher Education.

The NIRF India Rankings 2024 was released by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The felecitation to announce the award list is being held at Bharat Mandapam.

In addition to the existing parameters the ministry introduced - Sustainable Development Goals as a new parameter.

Thetop ranked colleges and institutions under each category will be released with their rank and score.

A Core Committee was formed up by MHRD to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions.

The NIRF rankings will be released on the official website at nirfindia.org.,

10th edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025  will be releasing today.

Ministry of Education (MoE) will announce the 10th edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 today on September 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM.

This time, the framework also includes the concept of the negative marking for the retraction of research papers.

NIRF ranks institutions in 16 categories, including: overall, university, college, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medical, architecture, dental, innovation, agriculture and allied sectors, and research institutions.

In 2024, the top 8 ranks in the 'Engineering' category were populated by Indian Institute of Technology.

A new category with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has been added this year.

In 2025, three new categories such as open universities, skill universities, and state-funded public universities ahve been added to the list.

 Institutions and colleges will be ranked on 5 key Parameters: Teaching, Learning, Research, Graduation results, Outreach, and Perception.

Within half an hour the Ministry of Education will announce the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025.

The NIRF Rankings will cover 15 categories from engineering, law, architecture, management, pharmacy, medical, dental and planning, agriculture and allied sectors, open universities, skill universities, and state public universities.

The rankings serve as a crucial benchmark for evaluating higher and prestigious education institutions and colleges.
