NMC Admission 2025-26: The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has decided to extend the deadline for submitting applications to start new postgraduate medical courses, increase seats in existing courses, and set up new PG medical institutions for the academic year 2025-26 until November 22.
Previously, the deadline for submitting applications was October 17, which was then extended until November 8.
“Now, MARB of NMC has decided to extend the submission of applications by further two weeks,” the commission said in the latest notice.
The medical colleges will need to upload the following papers in the application form:
- A valid Essentiality Certificate (EC) in the required proforma for beginning new PG medical courses in an existing medical institution or establishing a new PG medical institution (standalone PG institute) under the heading/column "Essentiality Certificate."

- Valid Consent of Affiliation (CoA) in the appropriate form.
- - Justification of the required number of seats
The board stated that applications will only be accepted if the appropriate amount has been paid online. Private medical colleges or institutions must present a bank guarantee for the necessary sum within seven days of receiving the Letter of Intent (LOI), whereas government medical institutions must submit an undertaking within the same time frame.
