Following extensive deliberations, the PGMEB recognized the institutions' concerns and challenges. As a result, it was agreed to extend the deadline for completing final tests by one month.
Universities now have until January 31, 2025, to finish the academic curriculum and administer the final examinations to postgraduate students from the 2021 batch.
This extension intends to give universities the flexibility they need to preserve academic rigour and educational quality while also allowing students to be prepared for their final assessments. The decision has been welcomed by educational institutions, who had been dealing with the original deadline's tight schedule.
