NTA NITTT September 2024 exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam dates for the September session of the National Initiative for Technical Instructors Training (NITTT) exam 2024 for technical instructors. NTA NITTT September 2024 will be held on September 14, 15, 28, and 29. Applicants can obtain their admit card via the official website, nittt.nta.ac.in.

The entrance exam will last three hours, or 180 minutes, and will be administered online via remote proctoring. The test will be given in two shifts: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

According to the NITTT 2024 test format, the question paper will be objective type with 100 multiple-choice questions. The exam will be in English alone.

The testing agency will provide a webinar for the exam on September 10 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and a mock test on September 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

NITTT is a joint project of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) to train instructors at AICTE-approved technical institutes. An inducted teacher must first complete eight modules of Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) on the SWAYAM platform, followed by mentor-based instruction and one month of industrial training. The training curriculum will be implemented by NITTTR Chennai, the Coordinating Institute.

“Specific details on how to attend the webinar and appear in the mock test will be provided to the candidates through the Admit Cards and emails sent to their registered email addresses,” NTA said.

NTA NITTT September 2024: Exam day guidelines

The NTA has published guidelines for applicants to follow during the exam, which are:

- Aspirants are urged to uphold the exam's sanctity and integrity by refraining from using unfair techniques.

- The exam is remotely proctored. Aspirants should be aware that during the exam, they will be monitored by human proctors who will record their actions, including those on their screens.

- If the proctor notices any suspicious eye movements or activity in the exam environment at any time throughout the exam, he or she may request that the candidate turn on the laptop/webcam to reveal his or her surroundings via chat. If the applicant does not follow the guidelines despite numerous warnings from the proctor, the exam may be terminated. Applicants are obliged to monitor the chat window for any communication from the proctor.

- Aspirants are not permitted to keep any sheets of paper for jotting down notes or completing rough work.

- Applicants will be able to keep their admission card, valid ID, and drinking water in a transparent water bottle during the exam.
