NTA PhD Entrance Test 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the Ph.D. Entrance Test 2023 for Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU). The last date to apply will be September 8. Interested candidates can apply for the NTA PhD entrance test 2023 at phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.

According to the schedule, the NTA PhD Entrance 2023 application process is set to commence from August 9 and will continue until September 8.  Applicants will have the opportunity to make corrections to their applications from September 9 to 11, 2023. The specific date for the examination and the release of admit card details will be released soon on the official portal. Candidates are advised to check the official website for the latest updates. 

In accordance with the eligibility criteria, candidates who have successfully completed their postgraduate or equivalent examinations, or are scheduled to appear in 2023, are eligible to participate in the PhD entrance test for prestigious institutions such as DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU, without any age limitations.

NTA PhD Entrance Test 2023: Exam Pattern

The PhD entrance test 2023 will include two sections including the first section will focus on research methodology, while the second section will pertain to the chosen subject. The question paper will have 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will get 3 hours to attempt the test papers. Candidates will get four marks for every accurate response, while a deduction of one mark will be applied for each incorrect answer. Candidates are advised to read the Information Bulletin from the official website before applying for the application form.

“Information about the eligibility, scheme of exam, exam centers, exam timings, exam fee, procedure for applying etc. are contained in the Information Bulletin hosted on the website of NTA,” reads the official notification.
