Railway Recruitment 2023: In response to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw released a list of the posts and zones that are currently open on the railway. The ministry reports that there are 2,48,895 openings across all zones.
There are openings in the railway industry for all groupings, including A, B, and C. In contrast to the 2070 open Group A and B posts, there are 2,48,895 Group C positions available across all Railway zones.
Candidates are offered appointments by the shared information if they meet the eligibility requirements, which include the verification of character and antecedents.

1,28,349 individuals have applied for Group 'C' employment as of June 30, 2023 (Level-1 positions excluded).
2,48,895 vacancies in all zone of Railway in Group C Post while 2070 posts are vacant in Group A & B posts. Up until June 30, 2023, 1,47,280 people have been enlisted to fill Level-1 positions in response to notifications. The UPSC is primarily responsible for direct hiring for Group 'A' Services on Indian Railways. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha that the UPSC and DoPT have an indent.
