NTPC Recruitment 2024: Online applications are being accepted for recruiting assistant executive positions at the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). Candidates may submit their applications for the NTPC Recruitment 2024 at careers.ntpc.co.in, the official website. The application must be completed by February 8, 2024, at the latest.
The recruiting campaign intends to fill 223 assistant executive positions in the NTPC at various locations on a fixed-term basis.
To complete the NTPC application form, candidates from the Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories must pay an application fee of Rs 300. There is no application fee for candidates in the Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (ST) categories.
Selected applicants would receive a monthly aggregated payment of Rs 55,000, as per the official announcement published by NTPC. Furthermore, benefits such as housing allowance (HRA), employer-sponsored housing, entertainment allowance for the night shift, and health insurance for the employee, spouse, and two children will be given.
NTPC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
The following lists the requirements for qualifying for NTPC recruitment in 2024.
- Age limit: As of February 8, 2024, the maximum age is 35. Candidates in the reserved category are eligible for upper age limit relaxations.
- Educational qualification: A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited university is required of the candidate.

Applicants may apply for NTPC Recruitment 2024 by following the instructions provided below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of NTPC at careers.ntpc.co.in.
Step 2: After this on the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘Recruitment for the post of Assistant Executive (Operations) on a fixed term basis. Advt. No. 04/24. Online application starts on 25.01.2024 and closes on 08.02.2024’ and then on the 'Apply' link.
Step 4: Now, fill out the registration form by entering details such as name, email id, and contact information.
Step 5: Next, login into the account by entering the credentials generated during registration.
Step 6: Now, fill out the application form by filling in the required information such as personal and academic details.
Step 7: Submit the necessary documents and make the payment.
Step 8: Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for further reference.
