NVS Class 6 Admission Registration 2023: The Jawaharlal Nehru Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2024 online registration period will be closed by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) today, August 31, 2023. On the JNVST 2024's official website, cbseitms.rcil.gov.in, candidates can submit their applications.
The opportunity for making changes to the JNVST 2024 exam's gender, category, location, handicap, and media will be open until September 2. An applicant may only apply for admission to JNV in the district in which they are enrolled in Class 6 at that time. Only candidates who are legally residing in the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located and who are enrolled in class V in that district are eligible to apply for admission.
For kids entering Class 6, there is no charge to register with NVS. There is only one step in the procedure for submitting an online application.
Candidates must have completed Class 5 in any government-run or -recognized school in the neighbourhood where the JNV is located. The applicant's date of birth must have been earlier than May 1, 2012, nor later than July 31, 2014.

Candidates who have already passed Class 5 before the academic year 2023–2024 are not eligible, nor are repeat applicants.
Following the provisional selection, candidates must present the parent's genuine residency certificate during the document verification process.
In each Vidyalaya, a maximum of 80 students are accepted to Class VI through a selection process, pending the availability of qualified applicants. Candidates tentatively chosen from the district's rural areas will occupy at least 75% of the seats in each district.

The steps below can be used by candidates to sign up for the test:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NAV at navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'NVS Class 6 registration' link, on the homepage.
Step 3: After that, click on the 'Click here for Class VI Registration 2024'.
Step 4: Fill out the application form and upload all the necessary documents.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the application form.
Step 6: Download the form and take a printout for further reference.
