Odisha Plus 3 Admissions 2025: The Higher Education Department of Odisha has officially released the third and final Under Graduate (UG) merit list for Plus 3 admissions. A total of 49,818 students have been selected in this round and are required to report to their allotted colleges between July 2 and July 4, 2025. This final phase mandates the use of the ‘Freeze’ option—students must confirm their seats and cannot use the ‘Slide’ or ‘Float’ option anymore.

This step ensures commitment to the final choice of institution. Earlier, in Round 1, 79,752 students had enrolled, and 45,502 were selected in Round 2. Candidates who had opted for Slide/Float previously are now assigned fixed seats.

The admissions are being processed through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS), allowing rank-based seat allotments and streamlined admissions for Odisha government colleges.

How to Confirm Admission via SAMS Portal (July 2–4)

  1. Visit the official SAMS portal: www.samsodisha.gov.in

  2. Log in using your registered credentials

  • View the third merit list under ‘Degree (+3)’

  • Click on the ‘Freeze’ option to confirm your seat

  • Download and print the allotment letter

  • Report to the allotted college with documents by July 4

    • The ‘Float’ and ‘Slide’ options are no longer applicable in this round

    • Failing to report to college by the deadline will result in seat cancellation

    • Carry all necessary documents and allotment letter while reporting

    • The college will verify your details and confirm your enrollment on the SAMS portal

    • This is the last opportunity for UG admissions for this academic session in Odisha
