OSEPA Teacher Recruitment 2023: Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) on Monday released a recruitment notification for the Odisha Junior Teacher 2023. Candidates will be able to apply from September 13 and the last date to apply will be October 10. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at osepa.odisha.gov.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 20,000 vacant seats for the post of Junior Teacher (Schematic). Candidates are advised to read the official notification before applying for this recruitment drive.

OSEPA Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023: Age Limit

Candidates who are going to apply for the junior teacher recruitment should not be below 18 years of age and above 38 years of age as of August 22, 2023.

OSEPA Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The candidates will be selected for this recruitment drive on the basis of marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates who will be qualified for the test will have to appear in the Document Verification (DV).

OSEPA Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023: Educational Qualification

CATEGORY-2 (For Classes 1st to 5th)-- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR 10+2 with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed. OR 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education and Pass the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-I (OTET-I). Candidates must have Odia as MIL up to class X or pass an Odia language test equivalent to the Matric standard conducted or declared equivalent by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha

CATEGORY-2 (For Classes 6th to 8th)-- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed. OR 12th with at least 50% marks and B.El.Ed. OR 12th with at least 50% marks and 4-year B. A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) OR Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed and Pass in Odisha Eligibility Test-II (OTET-II). Candidates must have Odia as MIL up to class X or pass in Odia language test equivalent to the Matric standard conducted or declared equivalent.
