OSSC CGL Prelims 2024: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) will hold the Preliminary examination of the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Exam (CGLRE 2024) today, October 20, 2024. The exam will be conducted in one sitting through OMR mode in all 30 districts across the state. Candidates can check the details at ossc.gov.in.

The preliminary examination will consist of 150 questions, each worth one mark. Candidates will have a total of 150 minutes to complete the exam. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted as a negative marking. Candidates must bring their OSSC CGL Prelims 2024 along with valid ID proof on the day of the examination.

OSSC CGL Prelims 2024 Exam Guidelines

- Candidates must correctly fill in their Roll Number and other required details on the OMR answer sheet in the designated spaces, using a Blue or Black Ball Point Pen. The appropriate circles must be darkened properly. Incomplete or incorrect information, or improperly darkened circles, will result in zero marks being awarded.

- If a candidate is found engaging in any form of malpractice or misconduct at any stage of the examination, their candidature will be cancelled. They may also be barred from future examinations conducted by the Commission, either for a specific period or permanently.

- Candidates are not allowed to take any examination materials, such as OMR sheets, rough sheets, or answer sheets, from the examination hall or pass them to unauthorized individuals during the exam.

- Leaving the examination venue without informing the authorities during the exam is prohibited. Misbehaving, intimidating, or threatening any exam officials, including Supervisors, Invigilators, Security Guards, or Commission representatives, is strictly forbidden.

- Candidates are not permitted to possess mobile phones in either 'switched on' or 'switched off' mode during the exam. Moreover, carrying Bluetooth devices, spy cameras, or any other electronic gadgets into the examination hall is not allowed.
