Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: As a part of the Pariksha Pe Charcha programme in Guwahati, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with 25 meritorious students of Assam today, December 21, 2025. The 40-minute interaction will take place aboard the tourism cruise vessel MV Charaidew on the Brahmaputra River in Guwahati.
The meeting was held on a cruise on the Brahmaputra River, a unique location for the PM's engagement with students ahead of the board examinations.
Following the session, Prime Minister Modi will visit the Martyrs' Memorial in Boragaon, Guwahati. This recently constructed memorial is dedicated to the more than 800 martyrs of the Assam Movement.
Around noon, the Prime Minister will travel to Namrup and Dibrugarh. In Namrup, he will lay the foundation stone for the Assam Valley Fertilizer Project. Officials said that the necessary land for the project has been acquired, and the fertilizer plant is expected to be completed in three to four years. The Prime Minister will then return to Delhi from Dibrugarh.
The initiative aims to reduce examination-related stress and encourage students to speak openly about academics, career aspirations, and mental well-being. The Prime Minister is scheduled to begin the day at around 8 am with the student interaction.
How Do Students From Assam demonstrate a Spirit of learning?
The selected students are from Kamrup Metropolitan, Morigaon, Dibrugarh, Cachar, Sivasagar, Baksa, Dima Hasao, Kokrajhar, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong, and Nalbari districts.
They represent government, residential, and private schools, including Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, PM Shri Schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Assam Jatiya Vidyalaya, Don Bosco institutions, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, and other state-run schools.

Students, parents, and teachers who still wish to participate in this annual event can register for this interaction by filling in the required details on the official website, i.e., innovateindia1.mygov.in. Interested people have until January 11, 2026, to register for this event.
Step 1: Visit the official website of MyGov: innovateindia1.mygov.in/ppc-2026.
Step 2: Click on ‘Participate Now’ on the homepage of the website.
Step 3: Now select your category – Student, Teacher, or Parent.
Step 4: Log in/register on the MyGov portal with a mobile number or email ID.
Step 5: Take online MCQ quizzes related to your category.
Step 6: After filling in all the details, submit the PPC 2026 form.
Step 7: If students wish, they can also send their questions to ask the Prime Minister.
