PM YASASVI Scholarship 2025: The Pradhan Mantri YASASVI Scholarship 2025 is a flagship scheme introduced by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, aimed at empowering Other Backward Class (OBC) students studying in Class 9 and Class 11. The goal is to ensure equal access to quality education by supporting students from economically weaker sections. Applications are now open for the academic year 2025–26 and must be submitted online at scholarships.gov.in before 31 August 2025.
Eligible students will receive financial aid through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts, ensuring quick and transparent disbursement. Class 9 students will get ₹75,000, while Class 11 students will receive ₹1,25,000 for their academic expenses. This financial assistance is intended to cover tuition fees, books, uniforms, and other essential educational needs.
Applicants must ensure their family’s annual income does not exceed ₹2.5 lakh and must complete Aadhaar-based face authentication using the NSP OTR App. Once the OTR (One Time Registration) number is generated, the student can fill out the scholarship application on the National Scholarship Portal.

Steps to Apply for PM YASASVI Scholarship 2025
Download the NSP OTR app from Google Play Store
Complete Aadhaar-based face authentication using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number
Generate your One Time Registration (OTR) number
Visit scholarships.gov.in
Log in using your OTR and fill out the YASASVI application form
Submit the form before August 31, 2025
