PPSC 2025: Selection process
The PPSC selection procedure consists of two steps: the preliminary test and the main competitive exam (written and interview). The preliminary test will comprise 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). Paper 1 consists of 100 general studies questions, whereas Paper 2 consists of 80 civil services aptitude test (CSAT) questions. Applicants will receive two marks for each correct answer in Paper 1, and 2.5 marks for each correct answer in Paper 2.
To be eligible for the preliminary exam, applicants must score at least 40% on paper 2, and paper 2 CSAT scores will not be used for determining the preliminary exam's merit. The merit of the preliminary test will be judged only by paper 1, which is general studies.
