Following the court ruling, the state began counselling after getting the amended NEET PG state merit list from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The state counselling committee will hold four rounds of counselling, including a stray vacancy round.

According to the revised timetable, those selected will only be able to pay their one-year tuition cost using NEFT and RTGS. The payment must be made before January 22.

Rajasthan NEET PG security deposit

The Rajasthan NEET PG security deposit would be withdrawn if an applicant who was assigned a seat in round 2 or later fails to attend the college. The security deposit will also be forfeited if the admission is revoked owing to a lack of requisite documents or fraudulent information provided.

The medical community has spoken out against the 'unfair' security money and called for a price structure adjustment. According to the state admissions process, applicants must pay Rs 1 lakh, Rs 2 lakh, and Rs 5 lakh for government, management quota, and private medical colleges, respectively.
