RGUKT 2025: The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) has officially launched the 2025 admission cycle for its renowned six-year B.Tech integrated program, a unique opportunity for students completing their Class 10 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The application window opened on April 27, 2025, and will remain active until 5:00 PM on May 20, 2025. This program, designed to nurture engineering talent from an early stage, combines a two-year Pre-University Course (PUC) with a four-year B.Tech degree, offering a seamless transition from secondary education to advanced technical studies.
RGUKT’s integrated B.Tech program is available at four IIIT campuses: Nuzvid, RK Valley (Idupulapaya), Srikakulam, and Ongole. The curriculum begins with foundational subjects in mathematics, sciences, and languages, followed by specialized engineering branches such as Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, and Metallurgical Engineering. The selection process is merit-based, relying on the Grade Point Average (GPA) and subject-wise grades from the SSC or equivalent examination, with additional consideration for students from non-residential government schools through a deprivation score.
Eligibility Criteria and Reservation Policy
To be eligible, applicants must have passed the SSC (Class 10) or an equivalent exam in 2025, recognized by Andhra Pradesh or Telangana boards, including CBSE and ICSE. The upper age limit is 18 years as of December 31, 2025, with a relaxation up to 21 years for SC/ST candidates. Candidates must also meet local/non-local status as per state regulations. While 85% of seats are reserved for local Andhra Pradesh candidates, the remaining 15% are open to both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana students under the Presidential Order. Supernumerary seats are available for candidates from other states, children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, and NRI students, ensuring broad access and representation.

Pay the application fee: ₹300 for General, ₹200 for SC/ST, and ₹1,000 for candidates from other states. Payment can be made online or at AP Online centers. Retain the payment receipt for future reference.

The six-year program is structured into two phases:
