RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) on Sunday issued a notification for the recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector and Constable in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). The registration process for the RPF Recruitment 2024 for Sub-Inspector and Constable will start tomorrow onwards, April 15, 2024. Candidates will be able to apply till May 14, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can check the RRB RPF recruitment 2024 notification at rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 4,660 vacant seats in the organisation. In which 4,208 vacant seats are reserved for constables, and 452 vacant seats will fill up in sub-inspector posts.

RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualification

Sub-Inspector Posts: Candidates are required to possess a graduation degree from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.

Constable Posts: Candidates are required to have passed the 10th standard examination or an equivalent examination from a board recognised by the Government of India.

RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Age Limit

Sub-Inspector Posts: The age eligibility criteria for Sub-Inspector is between 20 and 28 years.

Constable Posts: The age eligibility for Constable ranges from 18 to 28 years.

RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Application Fees

For all candidates, except those mentioned in category 2 below, out of the Rs 500 fee, an amount of Rs 400 shall be refunded after deducting applicable bank charges upon appearing in the CBT. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC), the fee of Rs 250 shall be refunded after deducting applicable bank charges upon appearing in the CBT.

RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

1. Online Computer Based Test (CBT): All candidates will participate in an online CBT exam.

2. Shortlisting: Based on their performance in the CBT, candidates will be shortlisted. The number of shortlisted candidates will be 10 times the number of vacancies for each category (Male/Female/Ex-Servicemen). Selection will be based on merit within each category.

3. Physical Tests and Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (excluding Ex-Servicemen) will undergo the following:

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Document Verification (DV).
