RRB Group D 2026 Registration Date:  The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will close the online registration window for the RRB Group D Level-1 Recruitment 2026 today, March 9, 2026. The application process began on January 31, 2026. Candidates interested in securing the technical and support positions across various zones and departments of Indian Railways must register by 11:59 PM on the official portal, rrbapply.gov.in.

The recruitment drive aims to fill  22,195 vacant posts, including Track Maintainer Grade IV, Pointsman-B, Assistant (Signal and Telecom), Assistant (Carriage and Wagon), Assistant Loco Shed (Electrical), and Assistant Track Machine, among others.

RRB Group D 2026 Registration: How To Apply

Follow the given steps to apply online before the deadline.

Step 1: Go to the RRB official website at rrbapply.gov.in.

Step 2: Enter your basic details to complete the one-time registration.

Step 3: Complete the application form using the login credentials.

Step 4: Upload the mandatory documents in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Pay the registration fee through online payment modes. 

Step 6: Verify the details thoroughly and submit the form.

RRB Group D 2026: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the RRB Group D exam 2026, candidates must have a 10th pass certificate with an ITI. The minimum age is 18 years, while the maximum age is 33 years as of January 1, 2026. 

The official portal of RRB may incur heavy traffic due to the last date of registration. The authorities advise candidates to complete their registration on time rather than waiting until late at night.
