The railway aspirants have started a massive agitation on Twitter demanding the release of the waiting list for the Railway Group D Recruitment 2019 and increasing the number of vacancies. Many candidates took to Twitter to post their demand with hashtag #railway_level1_waiting_do tagging Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Prime minister Narendra Modi, and other authorities in their tweets.
Aspirants have urged clarification from the Railway on the DV result, cutoff, and reservation criteria. Also demanded to issue a waiting list in the ratio of 1:1.5. Apart from this, aspirants say that this recruitment came out in 2019. Candidates are demanding new posts that have come in the Railways should also be included in this recruitment and the number of posts should be increased.
The Railway aspirant agitating on Twitter wrote in their post that only the normal candidates of that category are entitled to the reserved category (OBC, SC, ST, EWS). Due to the 20 per cent reservation to Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA) candidates, the reserve category cutoff of normal candidates has gone high.
