RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of the posts of Sub-Inspector and Constable in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). The application process for RRB RPF Constable and SI Recruitment 2024 commences today, April 15, 2024. Candidates will be able to apply on the respective RRBs official website.

According to the notification, the last date to apply for the RPF SI and RPF Constable posts will be May 14. The application form correction facility will start on May 15 and close on May 24, 2024. Candidates are advised to read the RRB RPF Recruitment 2024 notification before filling out the application form.

RRB RPF SI Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4660 vacancies, with 4208 positions reserved for constables and the remaining 452 for sub-inspectors.

RRB RPF SI Recruitment 2024: Educational qualifications

For constable vacancies, candidates must have a minimum of Class 10 certification from a recognised board. For SI vacancies, a graduation degree from a recognised university is required.

RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Age limit

For Constable (Executive) vacancies, applicants must be aged between 18 and 28 as of July 1, 2024. For SI vacancies, the age range is from 20 to 28 years as of the cut-off date. There is a one-time relaxation of 3 years in the age limit beyond the prescribed limit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional relaxation in the upper age limit will apply to candidates from reserved categories.

RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Application fees

The application fee for both vacancies will be Rs 500 for all candidates, except for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates, for whom the fee is Rs 250. A portion of the fee will be refunded after participating in the computer-based test (CBT).

RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

1. Online Computer Based Test (CBT): All candidates are required to appear for an online CBT exam.

2. Shortlisting: Based on their performance in the CBT, candidates will be shortlisted. The number of shortlisted candidates will be 10 times the number of vacancies for each category (Male/Female/Ex-Servicemen). Selection will be based on merit within each category.

3. Physical Tests and Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (except Ex-Servicemen) will undergo the following:

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

- Document Verification (DV).
