RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the application form-filling procedure for the post of Technician Grade 1 and Grade 3 today, March 9. The deadline to complete the RRB Technician 2024 registration form is April 8. The application form revision window will be open from April 9 to April 18.

The RRB recruiting drive seeks to fill a total of 9,144 technical positions. There are 1,092 posts designated for grade 1 and 8,052 posts reserved for grade 3. Eligible candidates can fill out the RRB application form online at rrbapply.gov.in.

Candidates from the unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) would be required to pay a Rs 500 application fee to apply for the RRB Technician position. Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories would have to pay an application fee of Rs 250. Candidates from all categories must pay an application form modification cost of Rs 250.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

RRB Technician grade 1

  • The candidate’s age should be between 18 years old to 36 years old.

  • Candidates should have completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in physics, electronics, computer science, information technology, and instrumentation from a recognized university.

  • Candidates should have completed a three-year diploma in engineering in the above basic streams or a combination of any of the above basic streams or a degree in engineering in the above basic streams or a combination of any of the above basic streams.

RRB Technician grade 3

  • The candidate’s age should be between 18 years old to 33 years old.

  • Candidates should have completed Class 10 with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) from any recognized institutions of the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) in the trade of forger and heat treater, foundryman, pattern maker, moulder or should have completed Class 10 with apprenticeship in the related trades.

Candidates should follow the guidelines outlined below to apply for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website of RRB at rrbapply.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Apply Online-Recruitment of Technician 2024,” tab.

Step 3: After this, fill out the registration form by giving the necessary details.

Step 4: Now, complete the application process by providing the required details.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents and make the payment.

Step 6: Next, submit the RRB Technician application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
