RRC ECR Recruitment 2024: Applications are being accepted for the East Central Railway (RRC ECR) through the Railway Recruitment Cell, subject to the sports quota. The application form must be submitted by February 26 at the latest. Interested parties may submit an online application at ecr.indianrailways.gov.in, the official website.
For candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, J&K, Andaman & Nicobar & Lakshadweep islands, Lahaul & Spiti districts, and Pangi subdivisions of Chamba districts of Himachal Pradesh, the application form deadline is March 11.

This recruitment drive is being held to fill positions for 31 athletes in HQ/ECR Hajipur and 25 athletes in level 1 of the East Central Railway's five divisions.

The ideal age range for the candidate is between 18 and 25.

RRC ECR Recruitment 2024: Application Fees
Examinees from UR/OBC categories must pay ₹500, while candidates from SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, PWDs, women, minorities, and economically disadvantaged classes must pay ₹250.
RRC ECR Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualification
- For the post of pay level 4/5: Applicants should have graduated from an accredited university in any discipline.
- For the post of Pay level ⅔: Candidates may also be qualified to pass at Tech III if they have passed the 12th grade or an equivalent exam, finished an Act Apprenticeship, passed Matriculation plus an ITI approved by NVCT/SCVT, or passed the 10th grade from an accredited board. However, unless they pass or have an ITI in the applicable trade, in which case it would be six months, the appointees' training duration will be three years.
- For Postpay level 1: The National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC), awarded by NCVT, or a recognized board of ITI, or an equivalent, should have been earned by the candidates in class 10.
