Sainik School Admission 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2025 today, January 13, 2025. Interested students who have not applied for admission to Classes 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools can submit their application forms at aissee2025.ntaonline.in.

To be eligible for admission to Class 9 at Sainik Schools, candidates must have passed Class 8. Admissions to Class 6 in new Sainik schools will also be conducted through this exam. Girls will be admitted only if seats are available in Class 9.

AISSEE 2025: Exam Dates

Sainik School Entrance Exam 2025 Class 6 Date: January 19, 2025, from 2 PM to 4:30 PM

Sainik School Entrance Exam 2025 Class 9 Date: January 19, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM.

AISSEE 2025: Application Fee

The application fee for candidates in the general category will be Rs 800, while candidates from the ST and SC categories will need to pay Rs 650.

AISSEE 2025: Age Limit

Class 6: Candidates must be between 10 to 12 years of age as of March 31, 2025.

Class 9: Candidates must be between 13 to 15 years of age as of March 31, 2025.

AISSEE 2025: Sainik School Entrance Exam Details

For admission to Sainik Schools, a written exam will be conducted in 190 cities across the country, featuring multiple-choice questions. The Class 6 exam will be a 150-minute paper worth 300 marks, covering subjects such as language, mathematics, intelligence, and general knowledge.

For Class 9 admission, the exam will be 180 minutes long and worth 400 marks, with questions on subjects including mathematics, intelligence, English, general knowledge, and social science. To pass, students must secure at least 25 percent in each section and 40 percent overall.

Sainik School Entrance Exam 2025 Registration: Here's How To Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website-- aissee.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link AISSEE 2025 on the homepage

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and enter the required details and click on the submit button

Step 4: Fill out the application form and upload the required documents

Step 5: Pay the application fee and click on the submit button
