School Holidays In November 2024: With Dhanteras, Diwali, and Bhai Dooj now over, the holiday season continues in some regions. Schools in a few states will remain closed for Chhath Puja, one of India's major festivals. The Bihar government has announced a four-day holiday from November 6 to 9, providing an extended break for those celebrating this important festival. Many schools in Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh will also observe a long holiday, and schools in Delhi will close for Chhath Puja as well.

Children's Day, celebrated on November 14, brings special activities to schools across India, including programs, picnics, and fun-filled events. While some schools offer a full day of celebrations, others may have half-day classes, and several schools even declare a holiday.
