SSC CGL Recruitment 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the dates for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) tier 1 exam 2024 on August 8. According to the official notification, the SSC CGL tier 1 test 2024 will take place from September 9 to September 26 at different exam venues across the country.

Applicants preparing for the SSC CGL 2024 exam can view the notice on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL 2024 test will be divided into two tiers. Tier 1 will be held in September, followed by the SSC CGL tier 2 exam in December.

The official notice reads, “The Commission has decided to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024(Tier-I) from 09-Sep-2024 to 26-Sep-2024. 2. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates.”

SSC CGL Registration 2024: Correction window date

The online registration period began on June 24 and ended on July 27, 2024. The SSC CGL 2024 application correction window will be open starting August 10, 2024.

Successfully registered applicants will be able to make modifications to their SSC CGL 2024 application forms using the correction facility. The SSC CGL application 2024 correction window will be active until August 11, 2024.

SSC CGL Recruitment 2024: Total number of vacancies

The SSC CGL recruitment drive intends to fill 17,727 jobs in the department. Candidates who are shortlisted will be given Group 'B' and Group 'C' positions across different Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Government of India, as well as several constitutional, statutory, and tribunals.

The allocation of these positions will be decided by the provisions indicated in the exam notice, taking into account both merit and candidates' choices for specific postings.
