SSC CGL Exam 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to begin the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) Tier-1 2025 from September 12. The exam will be conducted at 260 centers in 129 cities till September 26. The exam being conducted for 14,582 vacancies will be computer-based. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official portal ssc.gov.in using their login credentials.

A record 28 lakh candidates have applied for the SSC CGL 2025 exam. SSC says that 93 per cent of the candidates have been allotted the first three centers of their choice, while the rest have been accommodated in other nearby cities, with the average distance from their hometown being around 168 km.

SSC Strict Warning And Advisory Against Malpractices In Examinations:

Emphasising its position on providing transparent exams, SSC has cautioned aspirants against resorting to malpractices, referring to severe provisions of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024. The Commission has also enumerated advanced monitoring systems being implemented this year.

Remote Control of Nodes: Advanced technology will identify any hacking or taking over of examination nodes

Impersonation Checks: Aadhaar authentication, biometric identification, and facial recognition at entry and exit points will deter identity fraud.

Hall Misconduct: AI-based CCTV surveillance will detect attempts to swap chits or obtain unfair assistance during the exam.

SSC made it clear that the candidates who are found guilty will be subjected to cancellation of candidature, debarment from exams in the future, and potential legal proceedings under the PEA Act.

SSC Advisory To Aspirants:

In its advisory, the SSC asked candidates to avoid certain behaviours that could be flagged as suspicious, such as writing down answers on rough sheets for fast submission, speaking to peers, or peeking into others' systems. It also instructed candidates not to lock Aadhaar biometrics, as verification is mandatory at multiple stages of the exam process.

The Commission stressed fairness, transparency, and technology-based examinations while urging candidates to abide by rules strictly.
