New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The results for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) of the Tier-I exam have been declared. Candidates who have appeared in the exam can check the results online by visiting the official website- ssc.nic.in.
How to check the results?
Results are available on the official website ssc.nic.in.
Step 1: Log on to the official website ssc.nic.in.
Step 2: The candidate needs to click on the link.
Step 3: A pdf with the list of selected candidates will appear on the screen.
Step 4: The candidate needs to search their name in the given Merit list.
Step 5: Download the appeared Pdf and take a print out for further reference.
The exam was conducted from March 3 to March 9 and the answer key was released on March 16.
The declared results are for the 2019 edition of the SSC CGL exam, whereas the notification on recruitment for the 2020 edition is yet to be announced. A total number of 9,78,103 candidates have appeared this year for the examinations.
Students who have qualified in the exam will be eligible to appear for SSC CGL tier 2 which is scheduled to be conducted from October 14 to 17, 2020. The result declaration of the exam was postponed due to the nationwide lockdown.
As many as 8951 candidates have been selected through the SSC CGL Tier-1 examinations to appear for the Tier- 2 examination. The first two tiers of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) are conducted in an online mode and the next two tiers are held in pen and paper mode.
"The Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II and Tier-III) Examination, 2019 is tentatively scheduled to be held from 12-10-2020 to 15-10-2020 and 01-11-2020 respectively, subject to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time in view of handling of the Covid-19 pandemic," read the official notification by the SSC.
