SSC CGL is being held to fill 14582 Group B and C posts across different Ministries/Departments/Organisations of the Government of India. 

Staff Selection Commission has not yet announced the SSC CGL Tier I Result 2025.

SSC CGL Tier-II (Paper-I & Paper-II) will consist of Objective Type, except for Section-IV of Paper-I. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Language and Comprehension Part in Section-II of Paper-I.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 14,582 Group B and Group C vacancies across various central government departments. 

The chairman of SSC mentioned that the results for the SSC CGL Tier1 Examination will be announced in or before December 2025.

The students are advised to keep a close check on the official SSC's website to stay updated with the latest information on result declaration.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2025 was released on 16 October 2025 on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in. 

The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam was conducted over 15 days across 255 centres in 126 cities of India. 

The students will be required to enter their login credentials such as roll number, registration number and date of birth to check their CGL Tier 1 Examination Result.

The Staff selection Comission will publish the category-wise merit list PDF and individual scorecards on its website

The SSC conducted the Written Examination for the post of SSC ombined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) in 12 to 26 September 2025 & Re-Exam 14 October 2025. 

The SSC conducted the re-exam on October 14, 2025 due to technical disruptions, Mumbai fire incident, and reported malpractice.

The result for the SSC CGL Tier 1 Examination 2025 will be announced anytime soon on the official website of the Staff Selection Comission.

Step 2:  Click on the “Tier1 Result 2025” tab available on the homepage.

Step 3:  Select CGL from the exam category available on the homepage.

Step 4:  There will be a link for the “SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025” PDF.

Step 5: The PDF will open, and then students have to find their name/roll number in the merit list.

Step 6: Download or print the PDF for future reference.  For marks, log in through SSC Candidate Login when available.

Candidates who appeared in SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2025 can expect their results to be announced in December 2025. However, the exam conducting body has not confirmed the result date and time yet.

SSC CGL answer key was released on October 16 and the objection window was opened till October 19, 2025.

SSC CGL result 2025 for Tier 1 exam will be released by the commission on the official website ssc.gov.in.

This year, SSC has announced 14,582 vacancies for various Group B and C posts under CGL 2025

The minimum qualifying percentage for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2025 is given below.,

1. UR: 30%
2. OBC/EWS: 25%
3. Other Category: 20%

According to reports, out of 2.8 million registered candidates, over 1.35 million appeared for the CGL Tier 1 exam. The merit list PDF will contain the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates. 

Candidates with their roll numbers in the SSC CGL Merit List 2025 PDF will be eligible to appear for the Tier 2 exam. The SSC CGL Result PDF 2025 will be announced soon.

Tier 1 scores are calculated as follows:

• Total Marks = (Number of correct answers × 2) – (Number of incorrect answers × 0.50)

• There is no negative marking for unanswered questions.

The Commission will release the post-wise and category-wise SSC CGL cut-offs along with the Tier 1 results. The SSC CGL Tier 1 cut-off will determine how many candidates will be selected for Tier 2.
