Who’s Eligible To Apply For SSC CHSL 2026?
Candidates must fulfill the following educational and age requirements before applying for the SSC CHSL 2026.
1. Candidates must have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

2. For the Data Entry Operator (DEO) post at the Office of CAG, applicants must have passed Class 12th with Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
3. Those awaiting Class 12th results are not eligible for the recruitment cycle.
4. Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years old to apply for the SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026. Age limitations are applicable to reserved categories as per government guidelines.
SSC CHSL Selection Process 2026
The SSC CHSL selection process includes Tier-I, Tier-II, a skill or typing test where applicable, and document verification. Tier I and II are Computer-Based examinations. Candidates need to clear each stage with qualifying marks. The final merit list will be made based on the aggregate marks obtained in Section-I and Section-II of the Tier-II examination.
The pay range of LDC and JSA positions is from Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200. DEP posts are placed under Pay Level 4, from Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100, while DEO Grade ‘A’ posts carry Pay Level 5, from Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300.
Candidates are advised to complete their OTR using Aadhaar-based authentication, live photograph capture, signature upload, fee payment, and final submission before the deadline.
