New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for the Common Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination at its official website ssc.nic.in. The CHSL examination will be conducted by the SSC from March 16 to March 27.

It is noteworthy to mention that the candidates would need to carry an original identity card and a photocopy of the same, along with two passport size photographs to the examination hall. There will also be negative marking in the SSC CHSL exam. 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong the answer the candidates give in the exam.

Here’s how you can download your SSC CHSL admit card:

Step 1) Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in

Step 2) Click on the admit card link at the homepage of the website

Step 3) Enter your details like registration number and password

Step 4) Click on the name that says ‘Download SSC CHSL 2020 Tier 1 Hall Ticket’

Step 5) Download the admit card and take a printout for further reference

The CHSL exmaniation will be conducted in two phases -- Tier 1 and Tier 2 -- by the SSC. The exam was conducted by the SSC to fill up vacancies for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Postal/Sorting Assistants (PA/SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO). There 2,359 vacancies available for the SSC CHSL 2020 posts.

The candidates would need to clear the Tier 1 examination, following which they will have to appear for the Tier 2 examination that will test the candidates’ English and Hindi skills.

After the Tier 2 test, the SSC will release the final merit list of the candidates for the particular allotted post. It is noteworthy to mention that the candidates would need to submit their original documents for verification by the SSC.
