SSC GD 2025 Registration Window Closes Today For Over 39,000 Posts; Apply At ssc.gov.in

SSC GD 2025 Registration:  The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration window for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2025 today, October 14, 2024. Interested candidates who have not applied yet can apply online for SSC GD 2025 at ssc.gov.in.

The application modification window will be open from November 5 to November 7. The examination will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode in January or February 2025.

SSC GD 2025: Total Vacancies

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 39,481 positions for General Duty Constables across various forces. The breakdown of posts is as follows:

- Border Security Force (BSF): 15,654 positions
- Central Industrial Security Force (CISF): 7,145 positions
- Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF): 11,541 positions
- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB): 819 positions
- Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP): 3,017 positions
- Assam Rifles (AR): 1,248 positions
- Secretariat Security Force (SSF): 35 positions
- Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB): 22 positions.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed 10th grade from a recognised board or university by January 1, 2025. The age requirement for candidates is between 18 and 23 years as of January 1, 2025.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024: Application Fees

Candidates will have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. Female candidates, as well as candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM), are exempt from the fee.
